Hello, my name is Michael Messina-Godfrey, and I am the proud founder of Journey Inclusion Academy—an inclusive, family-centered private school located in Hercules, California. As a special education advocate, educator, and someone with lived experience of autism, I’ve dedicated my life to creating opportunities for children of all abilities to thrive. Journey Inclusion Academy is my passion project, and its mission is to transform education into a space where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered.
What We’re Raising Funds For
Starting a school is no small feat, especially one designed to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities while fostering an inclusive environment for all students. We need your support to make our vision a reality! The funds raised through this campaign will help us cover:
